How to use
Fully automatic machines with a cleaning programme
Please follow the appliance manufacturer’s operating instructions.
Fully automatic machines with a ground coffee compartment
Clean:
- Place tablet in compartment for ground coffee and a cup underneath the outlet.
- Start brewing.
- As soon as half a cup of water has run through, switch off appliance.
- Leave to work for eight minutes.
- Switch on appliance again and allow it to run through.
Rinse:
- Repeat brewing cycle three times with clean water.
- Then remove brewing unit and rinse until the water runs clear.
- Replace brewing unit and let two cups of water run through.
Pod and capsule machines
Clean:
- Dissolve one tablet in 500 ml of warm water.
- Remove brewing unit.
- Wipe fitted parts with the detergent solution.
- Place filter and spout in solution, clean, and leave to work for five minutes. Repeat these steps three times.
- To clean the drip tray, place one tablet in the drip tray and fill two-thirds full with warm water. Leave to work for 30 minutes.
Rinse:
Rinse or wipe all cleaned parts thoroughly using clean water.
