IF IN EYES: Gently rinse with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. If you feel unwell, call a poison control center, doctor, or the manufacturer. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice/medical attention. Keep locked up. Dispose of contents/container at an authorized disposal facility or municipal collection point.

Coffee/espresso machines, fully automatic machines, capsule/pod machines

Mix 75–150 ml of HEITMANN pure citric acid with 0.5 l of water.
Pour into the water tank and run the machine through.
Dispose of the solution and rinse the machine twice with clean water.

Hot water appliances (e.g., electric kettles, egg cookers, immersion heaters)

Add 75 ml of citric acid to the appliance and fill with water.
Heat the solution, let it sit briefly, then rinse thoroughly.
For immersion heaters: Heat 1 L of water with 75 ml of citric acid, then rinse well.

Dishwasher

Clean the door area; add 225–300 ml of citric acid to the empty machine.
Run a cycle without a pre-rinse at a minimum temperature of 50 °C.

Tea/coffee pots, cups, toothbrush holders

Mix 75–150 ml of citric acid with 0.5 l of water, let it sit, then rinse thoroughly.

Burnt stainless steel pots and pans

Mix 75 ml of citric acid with 1 cup of water, bring to a boil, then rinse thoroughly.

Apply undiluted citric acid to a cloth, wipe the surface, and rinse thoroughly.
