HEITMANN pure Pure Citric Acid 350 g

HEITMANN pure Pure Citric Acid is the powerful descaler for kitchens, bathrooms and households. Limescale deposits are not only unsightly, they can also affect the function and service life of electrical appliances. In addition, limescale residues create a surface where dirt and deposits can build up more easily.

Pure citric acid removes limescale reliably and is food-safe. It is ideal for kettles, coffee machines, capsule machines, dishwashers as well as surfaces made of stainless steel, plastic, ceramic and chrome.

Thanks to its easy application, limescale deposits on household appliances and surfaces can be removed quickly. HEITMANN pure Pure Citric Acid ensures thorough descaling and clean results throughout the home.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

Coffee/espresso machines, fully automatic coffee machines, capsule/pad machines:
 • Dissolve 2 to 3 tbsp (40 to 60 g) citric acid in 1 l of cold water and pour into the machine’s water tank.
 • Switch on the appliance and let it run through.
 • Rinse twice with clean water.

Kettles, water boilers, pressure cookers, egg boilers:
 • Dissolve 2 to 3 tbsp (40 to 60 g) citric acid in 1 l of cold water.
 • Fill with water up to the limescale mark and heat in the appliance. Leave to act briefly, then rinse thoroughly.

Dishwashers:
 • Clean the door area. To do this, dissolve 2 tbsp (40 g) citric acid in ½ cup of hot water and wipe the surfaces.
 • Then add another 6 tbsp (120 g) citric acid to the empty dishwasher, avoiding the filter.
 • Select a programme without pre-rinse, at least 50 °C, and run without dishes.

Stainless steel, plastic, ceramic and chrome surfaces:
 • Dissolve 3 tbsp (60 g) citric acid in 1 l of warm water.
 • Wipe the surfaces with the solution.
 • Wipe thoroughly afterwards or rinse.

Washing machine:
 • Descale without textiles. Dissolve 6 tbsp (120 g) citric acid in ½ l of water and pour into the drum.
 • Run a programme without pre-wash.

Teapots, coffee pots, cups, toothbrush cups:
 • To remove streaks and deposits, add ½ to 1 tbsp (10 to 20 g) citric acid to the container and dissolve with hot water.
 • Leave to act briefly, then rinse thoroughly.

Shower heads, mixer nozzles, fittings:
 • Mix 1½ tbsp (30 g) citric acid with ¼ l of water.
 • Treat limescale deposits with the solution or place the parts directly into the solution.
 • Leave to act, then rinse or wipe thoroughly.

Burnt stainless steel pots and pans:
 • Dissolve ½ to 1 tbsp (10 to 20 g) citric acid in 1 cup of warm water.
 • Bring the solution to the boil in the pot or pan and let it boil for a few minutes.
 • Then rinse thoroughly.
