Coffee machines and espresso machines:
- Preparation:
Dissolve 40-60 g citric acid in 1 litre of cold water. - Use:
Pour the solution into the water tank and let the machine run through completely. - Follow-up:
Then rinse the machine twice with clean water.
Kettle:
- Preparation:
Add 40-60 g citric acid to 1 litre of water. - Use:
Heat the solution in the kettle and leave it to work for a few minutes. - Clean-up:
Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
Washing machine:
- Preparation:
Dissolve 120 g citric acid in 0.5 litres of water. - Use:
Pour the solution directly into the washing machine drum. - Follow-up:
Start a wash programme at 60 °C without a pre-wash and without laundry.
